About

The artist

Scenic Route to Alaska is an acclaimed indie pop-rock trio originating from Edmonton, Alberta. Formed in 2010 by longtime friends Trevor Mann (lead vocals, guitar), Shea Connor (drums, vocals), and Murray Wood (bass), the band quickly became prairie-indie darlings known for their vibrant stage presence and unshakeable hooks. Over more than a decade of creative output, the trio has released a celebrated run of six studio albums—including Warrington (2014), Long Walk Home (2016), Tough Luck (2018), and Time for Yourself (2020)—culminating in their seventh album, Lasts Forever (2024). Recipients of the Edmonton Music Prize and Western Canadian Music Award nominees, Scenic Route to Alaska has toured extensively across North America and Europe, remaining one of Western Canada's most enduring indie rock exports.
