The artist

Sons of Arrakis are a Montreal band formed in June 2019 and inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune saga. The quartet describes its sound as Melange Rock and Cinematographic Sci-Fi Rock, combining stoner-rock weight, doom-leaning riffs and expansive science-fiction atmosphere. Volume I (2022) reached number one on the Doom Chart, while Volume II (2024) continued the band's international touring arc. The official site and current 2026 Montreal ticket listing confirm an active Quebec project, with Volume III announced for a January 2027 Montreal release show.
