About
The artist
Hailing from the wind-swept coulees of Lethbridge, Alberta, Starpainter is an alt-country and indie roots band led by songwriter Joel Stretch. Blending the melancholic introspection of Prairie country with the chime and drive of classic indie rock, their acclaimed releases Bury Me By My Friends and Rattlesnake Dream have positioned them among Western Canada's most respected contemporary roots ensembles.
