The artist
The Arrogant Worms formed at Queen's University in Kingston in 1991 and built a distinctly Canadian catalogue of comedy and folk songs. Trevor Strong, Mike McCormick and Chris Patterson pair concise musicianship with satire, wordplay and audience-friendly choruses. Songs such as The Last Saskatchewan Pirate, I Am Cow and Canada's Really Big became long-running favourites. The trio continues to release fan-funded material, including Canadian Famous and Fan Funded Songs 2025, and performed in Kingston in June 2026.
