The artist
The Elwins began as a high-school duo in the Toronto area and expanded into a quartet led by Matthew Sweeney and Travis Stokl with Feurd Moore and Frankie Figliomeni. Their self-titled 2008 EP was followed by the albums And I Thank You, Play For Keeps, Beauty Community, and IV, which move between indie pop, alternative rock, surf-rock colour, and danceable keyboard lines. After a period away from live performance, the group returned to the public release cycle with the 2025 single Isle Of My Own. The artist-controlled Bandcamp and exact Spotify and Apple Music profiles document the Canadian identity and public catalog.
