The Pursuit of Happiness

About

The artist

The Pursuit of Happiness are a Canadian power-pop and rock band formed in Toronto in 1985 and led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Moe Berg. The group broke through with the 1988 album Love Junk and the enduring Canadian hit I'm an Adult Now, then continued with One Sided Story, The Downward Road, Where's the Bone, and The Wonderful World of The Pursuit of Happiness. Its witty, literate songs and energetic guitar-pop arrangements have made the band a lasting part of Canada's alternative-rock history. The artist's current public site was updated in 2026, while the exact Spotify and Apple Music profiles, artist-linked Bandcamp catalog, and MusicBrainz identity corroborate the Canadian project, Toronto base, catalog, and continuing public activity.
