Eligible applicants
Registered non-profit or charitable organizations based in Charlottetown, with most programming or services taking place in Charlottetown, at least three years of continuous operation, year-round public arts programming, paid professional artistic/curatorial/administrative staff, established governance and programs, and professional payment of artistic contributors. The primary mandate must be to develop, create, produce, present, and disseminate artistic work in any artistic discipline.
Funding amount or limit
Up to 25% of the organization’s overall budget, to a maximum of $20,000.

Eligible activities

  • Year-round operating activities and public arts programming that sustain a Charlottetown cultural organization’s leadership role in the arts, including music organizations and programming because the stream accepts any artistic discipline. Retroactive, capital, private/closed, primarily commercial, primarily out-of-city, and several non-arts activities are excluded.
