The 2026 round opened February 20 and closed March 20, 2026. The 2027 round is scheduled to open November 16, 2026 and close December 14, 2026; notifications are scheduled for February 5, 2027, subject to City budget approval.
- Eligible applicants
- Incorporated not-for-profit or charitable organizations that benefit Guelph residents, have operated for at least one year, and are located in Guelph or have more than half of participants from Guelph and surrounding communities; or unincorporated community-led groups and individuals located or residing in Guelph whose initiatives are not for personal gain and benefit residents. Applicants must be in good standing.

- $75,000 is allocated to the community in each of 2026 and 2027. Incorporated not-for-profit and charitable organizations may request up to $8,000; unincorporated community-led groups and individuals may request up to $2,000.

Eligible activities
- One-time events, programs, and legacy projects that commemorate Guelph’s history, celebrate present-day Guelph, or build a future-focused legacy, with public-facing activity in 2027. Music-related activity is evidenced by the City’s published Guelph Chamber Choir partnership for a new choral work and CFRU 93.3 FM recording/editing support for Guelph 200 events.
