Applications may be submitted at any time from November 26, 2024 until program funds are exhausted. The current page says no new applications are possible for Volets 2 and 3; Volet 1 remains the active route.
- Eligible applicants
- Owners of independent non-residential performance venues under 3,000 seats may apply for Volet 1; owners or tenants may apply for Volets 2 and 3. The venue must have a valid performance-venue occupancy certificate or approved use-change request, maintain venue use for five years, have hosted at least 35 scheduled and published shows in the preceding year, and complete at least one listed ecological-transition action.
- Funding amount or limit
- Volet 1: maximum $30,000 or 100% of actual compliance costs. Volet 2: maximum $15,000 or 90% of eligible study costs. Volet 3: for venues under 400 seats, maximum $120,000 including studies/equipment; for 400–2,999 seats, maximum $370,000, with 90% limits and equipment/professional-service subcaps.
