Annual intake. The 2026 deadline was October 7, 2025 at 4 p.m. PST; the current consolidated Culture Grants page says the 2027 deadline is TBA and the project page says the next intake will begin at the end of summer 2026.
- Eligible applicants
- Professional and volunteer-driven culture non-profit organizations based in Nanaimo, incorporated and in good standing with an arts, culture, or heritage mandate, in operation for at least one year or assessed case-by-case if new, with at least one documented prior project/event and other project support; up to three separate project applications may be submitted per year.

- Project grants fund a maximum of 25% of total project costs; no fixed dollar maximum is published.
