Eligible applicants
Not-for-profit organizations, community groups, and collectives presenting events, festivals, celebrations, or gatherings in Oshawa. Eligible activities must be open to Oshawa residents and free to all participants. For-profit organizations, groups, and individuals are ineligible, along with organizations funded through Oshawa’s municipal budget process.
Funding amount or limit
The category has a total shared funding envelope of $100,000. There is no maximum award per applicant; the committee may allocate up to 100% of a successful request, subject to the number of successful applicants and available funds. The program page also describes a declining eligibility amount over four years for applicants: Year 1 100%, Year 2 75%, Year 3 50%, Year 4 25%.
