Eligible applicants
Project funding is available to professional arts collectives and not-for-profit organizations with a local arts mandate and projects carried out within a specific timeframe. Annual operating funding is for established incorporated not-for-profit organizations mandated in the arts or arts festivals, generally in existence for at least two years with at least two years of regularly scheduled programming, peer recognition, financial stability, and two consecutive prior project-funding allocations with approved final reports.
Funding amount or limit
Project grants in recent competitions rarely exceeded $10,000. Annual operating funding may cover up to 90% of total operating budget excluding in-kind support. Multi-year operating funding is not available in 2026; the next three-year operating cycle is scheduled for 2027.
