- Eligible applicants
- Local Ottawa-based not-for-profit organizations or eligible unincorporated professional collectives with a cultural mandate and a new eligible capacity-building project. Incorporated organizations must be led by cultural professionals, have an active board of at least three members, and have at least 50% of board directors residing in the Ottawa region; collectives must meet the City’s professional-membership and residency rules.
- Funding amount or limit
- Up to $15,000 for eligible capacity-building projects, or up to $10,000 for new website projects. The City will not fund more than 90% of total project cost, and the budget must include other revenue sources.

Eligible activities
- New organizational initiatives focused on community engagement and outreach, accessibility, fundraising, leadership and governance, marketing and promotion, strategic planning, organizational capacity, knowledge-sharing, equity/accessibility policies, digitalization, website development, online ticketing or membership systems, archiving, and accessibility upgrades.
