- Eligible applicants
- Local Ottawa-based not-for-profit cultural organizations mandated in arts, heritage, festivals/fairs, or culture, with an active board of at least three members, at least 50% of board directors residing in the Ottawa region, the majority of programming occurring in Ottawa or an Anishinabe Algonquin First Nation, and an office and official mailing address in the eligible region. Renovation/restoration applicants must show facility ownership or a five-year lease.

Eligible activities
- Minor capital improvements to cultural facilities and venues, fixed or non-fixed equipment purchases, renovations or alterations that improve performance, rehearsal, presentation, exhibition, programming, administrative spaces or public access, and facility needs or feasibility studies. Eligible equipment examples include sound boards, spotlights, mobile stages, storage, computers, and exhibition cases; routine operations, maintenance, and equipment for a specific one-time project are excluded.
