The 2026 Grow deadline was October 22, 2025. The next listed cycle is the 2027 Grow grant in fall 2026, but the exact date is to be confirmed; applications go live approximately two months before the deadline.

Eligible applicants
Individuals and organizations whose projects are from or support Indigenous and/or equity-seeking communities. Organization applicants provide mandate, governance, financial, and community-connection information through the organization application route; the program is intended for applicants whose work advances equity and inclusion in the arts.
Funding amount or limit
Funding requests are between $2,000 and $20,000; typical grants are reported in the $5,000 to $12,000 range. The maximum Grow request is $20,000.

Eligible activities

  • Project funding for artistic events, arts workshops, community collaborative projects, arts services, capacity-building opportunities, and other activities that grow and celebrate community. For the 2026 policy implementation, creation-based projects are directed to the Creation and Production Fund or Seed category instead of Grow.
