The 2026 Late Intake is closed. Festival and Event Grants are recurring under ACAP's annual two-intake cadence.

ACAP has an Early Intake deadline on the last Friday in October and a Late Intake deadline on the last Friday in March each year. The 2026 Late Intake deadline was March 27, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.; the next early deadline is not yet posted as a dated call.

Eligible applicants
Festival and Event Grants are for incorporated not-for-profit arts/culture organizations based in Sault Ste. Marie, or outside applicants with substantial local benefit and an event in the city. Community Event applicants must meet the program's governance and public-benefit requirements; Major Cultural Celebrations applicants must generally have at least four years of regularly scheduled artistic or cultural programming and demonstrated large-event capacity.
Funding amount or limit
Community Event Grants: under $5,000 and no more than 75% of total project costs. Major Cultural Celebration Grants: requests of $5,000 to $10,000 and no more than 75% of total project costs.
