Eligible applicants
Non-profit corporations or registered charities in good standing in Newfoundland and Labrador, based in St. John’s and providing programs or services to City residents, with volunteer involvement and a facility project meeting a demonstrated recreation, culture, or other community-service need.
Funding amount or limit
City assistance may cover a maximum of 50% of capital costs, including City cash grants and in-kind services such as labour, machinery, or materials.

Eligible activities

  • Construction, expansion, or renovation of a facility serving City residents, including cultural facilities and music venues. Previously funded projects or phases, non-capital expenses, and costs incurred before the deadline are ineligible.
