Ongoing intake; applications must be received at least 14 days before the scheduled event.
- Eligible applicants
- Youth residents of St. John’s up to and including age 29 who are registered in or attending secondary or post-secondary education, travelling outside Newfoundland and Labrador for qualifying events; youth teams or organizations generally must be based in St. John’s.
- Funding amount or limit
- Maximum total by number of travellers: $125 for one individual; $250 for 2–3; $500 for 4–6; $750 for 7–9; $1,000 for 10 or more.

Eligible activities
- Out-of-province travel for educational, cultural, leadership, or competitive events, including music conferences, competitions, symposia, and other formally sponsored cultural opportunities that broaden horizons.
