Annual intake. The 2027 Cultural Grants cycle opened July 20, 2026 and submissions close October 5, 2026.
- Eligible applicants
- Registered or non-registered not-for-profit organizations based in Surrey, or non-resident organizations whose Surrey project directly benefits Surrey residents; applicants may receive up to one Cultural Grant per year.
- Funding amount or limit
- Registered not-for-profits may request up to $3,000; non-registered not-for-profits up to $2,500; awards cannot exceed 50% of eligible project costs and require matching cash/in-kind support.

Eligible activities
- Original arts, culture, or heritage experiences presented as part of a larger event, including cultural performing-arts events, music and dance showcases, festivals, and holiday celebrations; eligible costs can include artist fees, cultural-professional honoraria, supplies, materials, services, liability insurance, and WorkSafeBC coverage.
