Recurring multi-intake City program; applications are submitted through the online portal and may be deferred to a later intake. The August 1, 2026 intake date is the current listed cutoff for October–December projects.
Recurring online intakes align with project start dates: April 1–December 31 deadline February 1; July 1–December 31 deadline May 1; October 1–December 31 deadline August 1; and January 1–June 30 of the following year deadline November 15.
- Eligible applicants
- Legal not-for-profit or charitable organizations, urban off-reserve Indigenous-led organizations, Association of Community Centres community centres, for-profit businesses, festivals, educational organizations, and grassroots or DIY collectives that are located in Toronto or deliver the funded project/services to Toronto-based entities or individuals; applicants must not be indebted to the City or in default.

- The City describes music grants as generally small, with most music funding below $5,000; it does not publish a fixed cap for Event Sponsorships and says larger amounts may be considered for significant sector-development impact.

Eligible activities
- Events that advance Toronto’s creative-industry sector and serve Toronto-based companies or individuals, with priority for significant public impact, audience building, career-development showcases, equity-deserving artists or audiences, activity outside the downtown core, local talent, knowledge-building, innovation, collaboration, or commercialization. Individual career projects, record production, direct tour support, and ongoing operating costs are excluded.
