Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship

Eligible applicants
Toronto-resident professional newcomer or refugee artists who arrived in Canada after January 1, 2019, have a valid work permit and SIN, apply with a professional artist/arts-worker mentor, and meet TAC professional-practice criteria. Mentors must also satisfy Toronto residency and work-authorization requirements.
Funding amount or limit
Total grant $15,000: $7,500 paid to the newcomer/refugee artist and $7,500 paid to the mentor.
