Eligible applicants
Organizations with an arts programming mandate that benefit City of Waterloo residents, have operated for at least one year, are not-for-profit or community organizations led by a volunteer board or executive committee or are registered charities, comply with applicable laws and bylaws, and submit a complete application. Individuals, for-profit businesses, government, educational, sports, social-service and religious organizations are ineligible.
Funding amount or limit
The maximum Arts Grant is 10% of the organization's total annual budget. The policy also allows staff to establish an annual dollar-based limit based on funding availability; no separate operating-stream cap is published.
