- Eligible applicants
- Non-profit organizations based in Yellowknife applying for one-year funding for the start-up or enhancement of a program or project. Applicants may apply under only one City grant stream per calendar year and must complete required final reporting to remain eligible for the next round.

- Up to 30% of the submitted budget, to a maximum of $10,000. Funding must be used within the grant year.
