- Eligible applicants
- Self-producing artists, Canadian francophone artists, songwriters/composers and sound-recording producers that own the master recording and meet Canadian/content/distribution standards. One project at a time, subject to the two-Canadian-artists company exception; global-funding-envelope companies under Individual Initiatives are not eligible.
- Funding amount or limit
- $25,000 maximum for francophone vocal, Indigenous-language and global music; $20,000 for other music. Up to 50% of accepted costs; $100,000 aggregate cap across the listed individual-initiative programs.

Eligible activities
- Album production
- Pre-production, recording, mixing, mastering and related accepted production costs
- A recording of at least seven tracks of at least 60 seconds each or at least 30 minutes
