Eligible applicants
Canadian music publishers, Quebec or Canadian-francophonie events or organizations, artist managers, record labels, sound-recording producers and show producers meeting program-specific experience thresholds. Applicants and representatives must be Canadian; global-funding-envelope companies under Individual Initiatives are not eligible.
Funding amount or limit
$10,000 maximum annually from 1 April to 31 March; no more than 50% of accepted costs. $100,000 aggregate cap across the listed individual-initiative programs.

Eligible activities

  • Travel by music professionals to develop new national or international markets
  • Professional-event attendance and market meetings
  • Career-development travel, generally up to seven days per trip and up to ten days for the stated multi-event exception
