- Eligible applicants
- Current SOCAN members who have received at least one SOCAN royalty payment in each of the past two calendar years. Applicants need a formal invitation, must apply before the activity, and cannot receive more than $100 CAD individually in compensation for participating. Publishers must represent works by at least four SOCAN members; each group member applies separately and groups may receive $2,000 combined.
- Funding amount or limit
- $400 for one-way travel of 201–1,000 km; $600 for 1,001–2,000 km; $800 for 2,001–5,000 km; $1,000 for over 5,000 km. One grant per calendar year.
