- Eligible applicants
- Individuals, corporations, performers, ensembles and presenters may apply to commission SOCAN members to create new concert/classical works. Applicants must match the grant with privately raised funds, show a public performance, avoid a familial or employment relationship with the commissioned member, and the commissioned SOCAN member cannot apply directly.
- Funding amount or limit
- Matches privately raised funds from $1,000 to $3,000; the grant is paid directly to the commissioned SOCAN member(s). Film scores are not eligible.
