- Alberta arts-based organizations with public programming in music or other eligible arts disciplines, at least one full-time-equivalent administrative or programming staff member, at least two full fiscal years of Alberta operation, an Alberta address, and at least 50% Alberta-resident board members. For-profits, municipalities, individuals, and collectives are ineligible.

- Determined using the organization's most recent board-approved financial statements, at up to 12% of total eligible expenses, subject to equitable distribution of available funds.
