Eligible applicants
Professional Alberta performing-arts organizations with music, dance, or theatre as their mandate; organizations must be incorporated and in good standing for at least three fiscal years, have public self-created/self-produced programming, at least two permanent full-time-equivalent administrative or programming staff, an Alberta address, and at least 50% Alberta-resident board members. Individuals, for-profits, municipalities, and organizations primarily benefiting people outside Alberta are ineligible.

Three-year operating allocation calculated from Community Derived Revenue and the published tier formula; no universal dollar cap is stated. The AFA board establishes the available budget annually.
