Three recurring recording deadlines are published: May 21, September 17, 2026 and January 21, 2027 at 5:00 PM.

Eligible applicants
Manitoba-resident individual artists or groups meeting the Manitoba residency and good-standing rules; a registered business or Manitoba incorporation is required. Level 3 applicants must also have sold at least 750 units or received 1,125,000 streams for their most recent release.
Funding amount or limit
Up to 60% of total project budget, to a maximum of $20,000.

Eligible activities

  • full-length production of at least six songs or 20 minutes of music
  • recording, mixing, and mastering
  • commercial release through all media
  • recording and mixing with an accredited Manitoba studio, engineer, or producer
