Three recurring recording deadlines are published: May 21, September 17, 2026 and January 21, 2027 at 5:00 PM.
- Eligible applicants
- A Manitoba-resident registered music business or incorporated music-industry entity applies for a project featuring a non-Manitoba resident artist. The project requires a Manitoba producer or engineer, a Manitoba agreement with the artist, and recording at an accredited Manitoba service; Level 1 commercial-release applications do not require the applicant business to be incorporated beyond the registered-business requirement stated on the page.
- Funding amount or limit
- Up to 75% of approved budget, to a maximum of $3,000 for Level 1 commercial-release projects. Self-producing artists may claim up to $300/day plus a $45 per diem, capped at one day per song.
