- Eligible applicants
- Nova Scotia-based Mi'kmaq professional artists, duos, ad hoc groups, bands, and organizations; non-profit organizations must be Mi'kmaq-led with majority Mi'kmaq leadership/staff/board, and applicants must complete the identification form. Canadian citizenship and 12 months of primary Nova Scotia residence apply.
- Funding amount or limit
- Create maximum $15,000 (minimum $500); Present maximum $12,000 (minimum $500); Professional Development maximum $12,000 (minimum $500); visual-arts materials grants up to $750. Access-support costs may be up to 25% of the expense budget or $2,500, whichever is less.

The program excludes commercial production work such as recording and music videos, but music creation, presentation, and professional development can fit.
