- Eligible applicants
- Artists currently resident in PEI; the primary artist or majority of the group must have a permanent PEI address and the applicant must have lived in PEI for at least six months. An applicant becomes ineligible after two successful microgrant applications or after receiving funding in any Music PEI Investment Program category.

- Up to eight microgrants of $500 each per year; eligible expenses are funded up to $500.
