The Concordian is Concordia University’s independent student newspaper in Montréal, staffed entirely by students and governed by a board of current and former students. Founded in 1973, it publishes campus and city news, sports, arts and culture, music, opinions, French-language pages and multimedia. Its dedicated Music section carried current reporting through April 2026, including album criticism, concert reviews, artist interviews, Juno coverage and festival recommendations. An April 7 review examines Quebec duo Angine de Poitrine’s Montréal album-launch concert through its microtonal rock, instruments, stagecraft, supporting Quebec acts and audience response. The outlet also published current French-language journalism in April 2026 and embedded a February 24, 2026 episode of its news podcast The Update, supporting genuinely bilingual and podcast-format credit.
