The Story of the Release
I Thought of You is the sublime 2021 solo album by acclaimed Acadian singer-songwriter Julie Doiron, released on Sackville independent imprint You've Changed Records. Marking her first solo collection in nine years, the record was recorded off-the-floor with close collaborators Daniel Romano, Ian Romano, and Dany Placard, channeling irresistible melodic hooks, unvarnished emotional vulnerability, and kinetic full-band garage rock energy. The album was nominated to the 2022 Polaris Music Prize Long List.
