Provenance & Context
The Story of the Release
Leave No Bridge Unburned is the third studio album by Canadian roots-rock duo Whitehorse (Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland), released on February 17, 2015 on Six Shooter Records. Stepping away from their previous self-produced looping approach, the pair worked with producers Gus van Go and Werner F at Revolution Recording in Toronto to create an expansive, cinematic desert-noir and rock 'n' roll landscape. The album won the 2016 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
Canadian Press & Critical Reception
Exclaim!2015-02
"Leave No Bridge Unburned represents a bold, swaggering evolution for Whitehorse, trading minimalist live-looping for widescreen, high-octane rock production without sacrificing melodic grit."
