Provenance & Context
The Story of the Release
Life After is the fourth studio album by Haisla Nation hip-hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids (Yung Trybez and Young D), shortlisted for the 2022 Polaris Music Prize. Written in the crucible of the pandemic, the record channels isolation, Indigenous resilience, grief, and survival into explosive trap bangers and introspective confessions, backed by heavy production from Boogey the Beat and beatmakers across Turtle Island.
