The Story of the Release
Following global viral acclaim for bedroom-pop anthems 'Heaven's Only Wishful' and 'Some Place Else', Toronto auteur Seth Nyquist crafted Semblance in relative isolation. Released on his independent Don't Guess imprint with mixing contributions from Dave Fridmann, the 11-track debut trades immediate pop hooks for expansive reverb, delicate falsetto arrangements, and poignant reflections on vulnerability and renewal.
