Absolute Losers

About

The artist

Absolute Losers is an energetic indie rock and power pop trio formed in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in 2019. Comprising brothers Sam Langille (bass, vocals) and Josh Langille (guitar) alongside longtime collaborator Daniel Hartinger (drums), the group blends 1960s pop hooks with post-punk rhythmic drive and gritty Atlantic Canadian rock immediacy. Following their celebrated 2023 debut full-length album At The Mall, Absolute Losers earned extensive regional acclaim, including Music PEI Award nominations for Album of the Year and Rock Recording of the Year. In 2025, the trio released their sophomore record In The Crowd via Having Fun Records and We Are Busy Bodies, cementing their standing as one of the most distinctive alternative rock outfits emerging from Atlantic Canada.
