Dale Sorensen is a Canadian trombonist, educator, researcher, and artistic director based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. His performing practice crosses classical, popular, orchestral, chamber, and musical-theatre settings, with a sustained focus on Canadian repertoire. Sorensen has premiered more than twenty-five solo trombone works and dozens of chamber pieces, and his 2015 album Harambee: Canadian Music for Trombone documents music by Canadian composers in a solo recording context.
