The artist
Adrian Glynn McMorran is a Vancouver-based singer-songwriter, musician, and actor who records as Adrian Glynn and co-leads the folk group The Fugitives. His solo catalog began with a self-titled album in 2008 and developed through Bruise, Morelightthannolight, Ghostlight Sessions, and the 2024 song cycle You're Just a Place That I Know. That fifth solo album traces his Ukrainian grandparents' wartime displacement and eventual life in Montreal through indie folk, Ukrainian instruments, strings, and choral arrangements. The project expanded into an Arts Club Theatre production presented in Vancouver in 2026.
