About

The artist

CRi is the electronic music project of Quebec producer and live performer Christophe Dubé. Originally from Quebec City, he first performed as a beatboxer with the hip-hop group Feuilles et Racines before beginning his solo electronic catalog with the Eclipse EP in 2013. Releases including Tell Her, Someone Else, and Initial established a style built from melodic house, syncopated percussion, bright bass movement, and dreamlike vocal textures. Someone Else received a JUNO Award nomination for Electronic Album of the Year in 2018. CRi joined Anjunadeep in 2019 and released the debut album Juvenile in 2020, followed by Miracles in 2023. His collaborations have included Charlotte Cardin, Daniel Bélanger, Half Moon Run, Klô Pelgag, Bob Moses, Jesse Mac Cormack, and other Quebec and international artists. In 2021, he became the first electronic act to win the breakthrough artist award at ADISQ and later became one of the first electronic artists to headline the main stage of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. The 2026 release AMi Vol. 1 shifted the project toward a more openly collaborative studio and touring model. A current Anjunadeep schedule lists performances in Canada, the United States, and Malta through October 2026. Billboard Canada reported in 2026 that Dubé lives in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard, Quebec, while his official site and professional profiles continue to connect CRi to Montreal's electronic scene. His current catalog remains active across recordings, remixes, live releases, DJ mixes, and international performances.
