About

The artist

Fionn is the Vancouver music project of identical twin sisters Alanna and Brianne Finn-Morris. Raised in White Rock, British Columbia, the sisters began performing together as young buskers and first used the name Alanna & Brianne before adopting Fionn. They signed with Vancouver label 604 Records in 2018 and released their self-titled debut that year. Their catalog traces a broad stylistic movement: the early work foregrounds close vocal harmony and folk-pop songwriting, while Candid Constellations, I Might Start Smoking, and the later singles bring in indie pop, alternative rock, and a more confrontational guitar sound. The 2025 song BLOW reached number one on Canadian alternative radio and Billboard Canada's Modern Rock chart, leading SOCAN to recognize Alanna Finn-Morris, Brianne Finn-Morris, and co-writer and producer Kevin Maher with a No. 1 Song Award. The duo's fourth studio album, scum., arrived in 2025, with Spotify currently presenting an expanded 14-track album version dated June 2026. The exact Spotify identity contains 41 distinct primary album and single containers from October 2017 through June 2026, including four album-classified releases and 37 singles. Current official, industry, and independent sources consistently identify Fionn as a Vancouver-based duo, and 2026 coverage documents ongoing touring and festival activity.
