About

The artist

FouKi is the stage name of Montreal rapper Léo Fougères. He began developing the project in the mid-2010s with producer QuietMike and other members of the creative circle that became Les Fourmis. Early independent projects led to a relationship with Disques 7ième Ciel and the release of Zay in April 2018. La Zayté followed that summer, and ZayZay arrived in 2019. FouKi and Koriass joined forces for Génies en herbe in 2020, the same year FouKi expanded the Grignotines EP into Grignotines de Luxe. His collaboration with Jay Scøtt, Copilote, became one of his defining songs and earned ADISQ honours for song and video of the year in 2022. Zayon and the collaboration-focused RAP CLUB both arrived in 2023. Still Kankan, released in May 2025, is his sixth official album and balances reflective writing about time with the bright, genre-crossing energy associated with his work. The exact Spotify identity currently contains 37 distinct primary album and single containers from September 2017 through October 2025, including eight album-classified releases and 29 singles. Oh oui, a collaboration with Christophe Martin, is the latest matching container. FouKi received the Félix for Male Performer of the Year in 2021. Current official artist and label pages identify him with Montreal and list an extensive 2026 Quebec tour, confirming ongoing professional activity in the province. English and French copy and translation provenance were reviewed together, Spotify media is rendered with provider attribution, professional inquiries are directed to the official artist site, and no direct team contact details are republished.
