The artist
Haley Blais began writing and recording in British Columbia in 2014, first building an audience through diaristic videos and ukulele performances. Her debut album Below the Salt arrived in 2020, followed by the 2023 album Wisecrack and the 2024 Audiotree Live EP and singles. Blais has toured internationally, signed with Arts & Crafts, appeared on the 2024 Polaris Music Prize long list for Wisecrack, and continues performing across Canada, including the 2026 Vancouver Folk Music Festival.
