The artist

Saskatchewan-born, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter JoJo Mason entered Canadian country music in 2015 with It's All Good and developed a buoyant style that mixes contemporary country with soul and Motown influences. His catalog includes the album Both Sides of the Bar, the EPs Chapter Two, Changes, Sky Full of Stars, Bettin' on Me, and Gold, plus singles such as Better on You, Broken Umbrella, Bottom Shelf, and Gold. Better on You earned a Canadian gold certification, and Mason has placed six songs in the country-radio Top 10. He has received multiple Canadian Country Music Association nominations, won the BC Country Music Association's 2022 Entertainer of the Year award, and was named BreakOut West Country Artist of the Year in 2023. His current official pages continue to identify him as Vancouver-based and document new releases through 2026.
