The artist

La Corriveau is a heavy-metal band based in Québec City, Quebec. Guitarist Marc Légaré and drummer Xavier Alvarez founded the group in 2008, then developed a catalog shaped around the legend of Marie-Josephte Corriveau. Soul Possession opened the album run in February 2012. The four-track Femme Fatale EP followed in 2014, Black Sorrow arrived in 2017, and Evil Inside continued the concept in November 2022.
