The artist
Oh Clementine is a family-focused folk band from Vancouver led by songwriter and early-childhood educator Jessie Schellenberg. The group's acoustic lineup includes upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and backing vocals, supporting songs about parenthood, togetherness, heritage, and childhood wonder. Schellenberg began the project with the 2017 EP Grow Your Heart and released the album One Thousand Mornings in 2025. The group remained active through a 2026 national festival schedule and the single Colours of the Rainbow. One Thousand Mornings received a 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Children's Album of the Year, following a 2025 Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Children's Artist of the Year.
