About
The artist
Formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2014 by high school friends Neil Smith, Chris Vanderkooy, Peter Wilton, and Mikey Pascuzzi, Peach Pit have become one of Canada's biggest international indie-rock exports. Self-described as chewed bubblegum pop, their sound pairs breezy surf-rock guitar textures and shimmering melodic leads with bittersweet, self-deprecating lyricism. After their breakout 2016 single Alrighty Aphrodite went viral and achieved multi-Platinum status, the band signed with Columbia Records and released acclaimed LPs Being So Normal (2017), You and Your Friends (2020), From 2 to 3 (2022), and Magpie (2024), earning a JUNO nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year and selling out premier venues across the globe.
