Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is a professional symphony founded as a nonprofit society in Vancouver in 1919. Led by Music Director Otto Tausk since 2018, the organization presents more than 150 concerts each year across Vancouver and British Columbia and reaches audiences through classical, popular, educational, and culturally diverse programming. Its activity includes international and Canadian touring, a dedicated school of music, youth partnerships, and community programs.
